Our Main Fundraising Aims

  • Core Staff Funding: To expand our capacity to support more families, provide stability for existing programmes, and create additional opportunities for young people in our community.

  • Hardship Spaces: To maintain and increase access for families facing financial barriers, ensuring our services remain inclusive and equitable.

  • Young Facilitators Training Programme: To develop a sharable programme that equips young people to take on facilitation roles, supporting leadership development while offering a replicable framework and thought leadership for similar self-directed learning settings.

  • Learning Resources: We want to invest in our woodworking, crafting and gardening tools and spaces.

About Our Free Minds

Thank you to Marlborough Area Board

A huge thank you to the Marlborough Area Board for awarding Our Free Minds a £500 grant towards our running costs and hardship fund. This support helps us keep our sessions accessible, sustainable, and inclusive, ensuring that financial circumstances do not prevent young people from taking part in our community. We are incredibly grateful for their investment in local young people and families.

£1000 grant from Tesco Stronger Starts

Thank you to Tesco Marlborough and the people who voted with their blue tokens for Our Free Minds! We have been awarded £1000 to invest in woodworking, printing and crafting resources - and we cannot wait to get shopping!

Hello

Thank you to Wiltshire & Swindon Community Foundation

We are delighted to be the recipients of a £5,000 grant, to be paid in instalments across two years, towards our hardship bursary fund. This will contribute to approximately half of our current hardship spaces - helping us to make sure that financial hardship is not a barrier to attending Our Free Minds.
